It would be easy. All the streets look the same. Not to mention all of the "things" that you can get here. But we won't say too much about that. So I don't have that much to say. Then why post you might ask? Well the urge struck me, and I'm in a library that has free internet, and that's a good thing. We're about to go to an Improv show called Boom Chicago that we hear is pretty good. Other than that, all I've done in Amsterdam is sit in the park and look at the clouds, oh and play a little frisbee golf before it started raining, but it was that mist kind of rain that I like so much, so it wasn't bad.
To Robyn and Bill. YAY! So cool that you are coming down to play frisbee. I can't wait for Sunday.
To Chuck, Thanks.
To JKR, I love you.
To R.A.B.-I know what you're up to, and I like it.
To A-remember what we talked about playing spades at the lockin?
To F-Captains please.
To all...peace and godbless

WHOO WHOO...I DONT GET OUT MUCH DO I? ANYWAY, ITS BEEN PRETTY GREAT SEEING AND HEARING THINGS THROUGH YOUR EYES...THANKS FOR THE TRIP! WHERE ARE WE GOING NEXT YEAR? TAKE CARE, RUTH
LEO! So, the trip is almost over and it is time to reflect...what a great city to wind down in! Not to mention all the things you can get there to help expand your horizons! HA HA HA We can't wait for Sunday either, hope you get some rest on the plane flight home and don't have the layovers/waits I did last year coming back from Italia! Enjoy the last few moments, sorry you don't drink coffee, that was one of the great delights of Europe, to savor their amazingly strong, smooth cafe in an cafe every morning, and coffee is different in every country! Luv ya both, be safe, cya soon. RAP
Yea Yea, hope you are partaking in all that amsterdam has to offer, Big F style. What was the agreement, how much captain, fifth or a liter or handle. let me know. we need to hang out and let you tell me all about the crazy summer. Maybe catch up on the OC, I haven't watched any since we moved out.
Well, I guess this is it. The last time I'll post anything to you for this trip anyway.
So what are Ruth and I? Chopped
liver? What do the people that you wrote comments to have that we
don't? Did they carry you around in their womb for nine months and then spend 29 hours in intense labor to bring you forth into the world? I think NOT! But that's all right. You can slight your own dear Mother and her best friend. We understand the power of forgiveness. It must have just slipped your mind to include us.
Colleen went into the hospital yesterday to undergo a complete
hysterectomy due to some fibroid
tumors. Larry wants me to make her a floral arrangement that he can take to her tomorrow. I should have some extra flowers from the arrangements I'll make at
work tomorrow. I had a few left over from a party that I had to do this morning. I'll have to find her a card as well.
We went over to Bill's last night for the last poker game night in his basement. They have sold their house and have bought a new one. Terry, John, Rick Tatnall, Richard Koechlein, Dutch,
Larry and I were there. Terry spent most of the time talking about how much fun we'll have once we get the computer up and running and get on line. He said he was very impressed with your writing and was glad you were posting on the blogspot. His brother died recently and he's had to deal with all that that entails.
I called Bryce's parents' house to see what's going on for Saturday and I ended up talking to his Aunt. His parents had gone away for a few days. She sounded exactly like Debra and I kept commenting on that. Of course most families sound the same. I'm sure I sound like Mom and Mary Ellen and maybe even Laurie. As of right now I still don't know when your plane is coming in or who is going to pick you up. We'll call again either tonight when I get back home or tomorrow sometime.
Well, seeings how I just wrote on Monday and this being Thursday not much has happened to write about. Ruth and I assume (you know what they say about assume--it makes an ass out of u and me) that you got the phone number and that you got in touch with Bert and Nel and got to their house for a lovely visit. Or did you just stay in Amsterdam toking on hookas and chasing the femme fatales. I was expecting either your entry or Bryce's to be titled HOOKERS AND HASH! Maybe for the next trip. Can't wait till you get back, Son. You know I love you. Mom
I am being encouraged to speak my mind, and you know that's difficult for me...this is to Jenny...."your true LOVE"....it is too much for my old brain too comprehend...you are at the beach and the FIRST one to comment on Leo's last post....hmmmm......and lets talk about the too many sites????? My only concern would be to make sure my cigs didnt get wet with the next wave much less blogging on vacation..whats up with that?? hmmmmm.. I think I was right the first time when I intercepted a JOKE???? that spoke of the love between the both of you and you wrote it off as a survivor alliance..it worked. I bought it..well, I am on to you now, and Leo's mom and I are so happy for you, really we are ..when's the wedding?? well, you can deny it all when you both get together and concoct another "alliance story" ....seriously..when is the wedding? love you both... Jen, know you will fit right in with the "family". Can't wait to see you Leo, sure you will have TONS to say about this...and as Leo so eloquently said ..."I love you". bye for now, Ruth
