Well no I´m not but I wouldn´t mind it. Our hostel was actually right across the street from where Kennedy made that infamous speech. Berlin is Awesome! Würzburg was Awesome! Munich was Awesome! I guess that means that Germany is pretty freakin awesome! I´m proud to call myself Pipe.
I´ve spent most of my time in Berlin walking and lounging, and yes finally playing some frisbee in the extensive park system that they have here. Yesterday was spent completely in one park where they had this concert called Yellow Lounge, which consisted of mostly classical music being played while people chilled around a pool floating in the middle of the Spree river. It was very laid back and a very cool day. Today I walked through the Tiergarten and made up around 14 holes of golf before I ran out of park and ran into the zoo. So I thought, why the hell not? The zoo was certainly worth Berlin placing the train station next to it that U2 would later name a song for. For those of you confused by that sentence, consult your local record store (or neighborhood yard sale apparently) for Achtung Baby.
So there´s only one stop left (not counting an afternoon in Brußels(haha I just wanted to use that key)) and that´s Amsterdam. It´s time to throw all caution to the wind, drop all the weight that´s slowing us down(see ya later clothes), and seriously end this trip in style!
Auf Wiedersehn Deutschland! I loved ya even though I didn´t understand one word whilest I was here.
p.s. mom the email for Bert and Nel didn´t work and I don´t have their phone number, though you do. Please email it to me at cooleo626@hotmail.com
random notes...
Hey Megan! Glad to hear from you and I can´t wait for that epic battle on the 6th.
I now have a strange desire to watch Night Rider
Mein Hotel ist nicht weit von hier
Hitler sucked
German musik, or at least the American music that Germans play, ROCKS! I already mentioned the sweet 80s internet cafe. Then there was this radio station that within the course of a few hours played, Thriller, Summertime by Fresh Prince, Don´t Speak, plus all these current hits from the US.
Dangit Bryce beat me to posting, one way to fix that...

Have fun, but be a bit cautious. Beware of losing brain cells or gaining diseases.
Look forward to seeing you soon.
HEYA Leo- See you for frisbee in RIC on Sunday, 10 am? I can't wait to hear about all your stops, Germany is a place we really want to go with our friend from NY, Mikey, who is German. Ah, the sausage and beers! Nothing like meat and potatoes every meal with nothing but sauerkraut for veggies! Just kidding. Anyway, rib Bryce that he set his last big post (from Rome) so no comments could come thru so stop whining about everyone not reading it! Well, gotta walk 2.5 miles before the day gets gone. Luv yall and cya in a few days! RAP

"Way up on your cloud
Never coming down
Are you getting somewhere
Or did you get lost in
Amsterdam?"
I'm sure when I quoted the other part of the song that you knew I would save this part for when you actually got to Amsterdam. What a trip it's been, huh? Almost over. It's like sipping that glass of Courvoissier after a delicious seven course dinner.
If you go back in time to your birthday and check the comments you will find that Terry gave you Bert and Nel's number when he wrote my message. Ruth e-mailed it again for you. I don't have it with me right now or I would post it again for the third time. Hope you checked your e-mail. Dad wanted to know if you needed any more money for those last few days to take Bert and Nel out for dinner or to buy stuff with. Let us know so we can put some in your account. Maybe we'll call them before Saturday to see if you're there or to see if you got in touch with them. It would be nice to hear your voice seeings how I missed it on June 26th.
I see that Debra finally posted something. Funny how she waited until you got to Sin City to say something! I'm not going to worry about you. They have marvelous drugs here in the States
to cure whatever you might contract. (I wish you could see the dictionary I've been using here at Ruth's. It is obviously not printed for the elderly because the type is so minute it is almost impossible to see without my magnifying glass. Wish I had brought it with me.)
You know, I am going to sorely miss this blogspot when you come back. I've had the most fun thinking up my responses and waiting to see what you guys wrote for each place you visited.
We only have about half of it printed but when it is all done perhaps we can do the whole thing and put it in a nice binder. I'll sping for the ream of paper that it will take. And the ink cartridge as well. I've had a good time traveling around to my different friends' houses to read and compose. I'm so glad you thought to do this.
We had a good time in Boone. It was a good thing that we weren't camping because half the people became terribly sick. Maybe it was in the water. Had a great time up at the barn dance. I just wish that the band didn't play so many undanceable songs. Paul was too sick to come so we didn't get our annual "Sixteen Tons" but we did get "Put me in, Coach." Always the crowd pleaser. I even danced with Allen Gaddy. He's a junior now and growing up. Oh, I also danced with Nick's cousin.
Dad hasn't even begun Harry Potter yet. Get this, he said that he might just read a chapter a month to stretch it out to make it last longer because the next one will be years from now. If he thinks that he won't hear how it ends, he's crazy as a loon! I'm sure you and Robyn will set him straight. I figured halfway through the book that Harry would have to grow up and be on his own for the seventh book. Only made sense. That's all I'll say for now in case he reads this. He was asking me questions about it trying to figure out who died.
Well, I guess i'd better stop because I'm getting cramps in my thighs from sitting here tippy-typing this post. Take care, Mr. Pipe, and have a great time with the few days that you have left. I'll try to get off one more response before you come home. Maybe I'll see you up at Dulles,
if not I'll be back home moving those ex-homeless guys up into the attic to make room for you. A gal's got to make a living somehow! Miss ya and can't wait for Saturday!!!
Your ol' Mommazula
